1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) establishes standards for professional, legitimate, and responsible use of Transa.
It applies to all users of the Platform.
2. Legitimate Business Use
Transa may only be used for legitimate professional and business purposes relating to logistics, transportation, warehousing, customs, cargo insurance, packaging, consultancy, supply-chain services, and other approved Platform categories.
Users must act professionally and in good faith.
3. Accurate Business Information
Users must provide accurate and reasonably current information.
Users must not:
- Create fake accounts
- Impersonate another person or company
- Misrepresent company credentials
- Misrepresent licences or certifications
- Publish intentionally false rates
- Advertise unavailable services or capacity as available
- Submit deliberately misleading commercial information
4. Genuine Customer Requests
Customer requirements submitted through Transa must represent genuine business needs.
Users must not submit fake requests primarily to:
- Collect competitors’ rates
- Harvest commercial information
- Manipulate market information
- Harass service providers
- Artificially generate Platform activity
- Obtain confidential information without legitimate business intent
5. Provider Offers
Providers are responsible for the accuracy of their service information and offers.
Providers should update or remove materially outdated rates, capacity, routes, or service information within a reasonable period.
Repeated publication of intentionally misleading information may result in restrictions or suspension.
6. Professional Communication
Users must not send:
- Spam
- Mass unsolicited messages
- Threatening communications
- Harassing or abusive messages
- Discriminatory content
- Fraudulent requests
- Malicious links or files
- Repeated unwanted communications
Platform communication tools should be used for legitimate business interaction.
7. Fraud and Financial Misconduct
Transa must not be used to facilitate:
- Fraud
- Money laundering
- Terrorist financing
- Bribery
- Corruption
- Sanctions evasion
- Illegal trade
- False commercial documentation
- Other unlawful financial activity
Serious suspected misconduct may result in immediate account restriction or suspension and may be reported where legally required.
8. Trade and Sanctions Compliance
Users are responsible for compliance with applicable:
- Sanctions
- Export controls
- Import restrictions
- Customs regulations
- Trade controls
- Licensing requirements
Users must not knowingly use Transa to circumvent applicable restrictions.
9. Dangerous and Restricted Cargo
Users dealing with dangerous, controlled, restricted, or regulated cargo must provide all information required by applicable law and relevant industry requirements.
Users must not intentionally misdeclare cargo.
Customers and service providers remain responsible for determining whether cargo may legally and safely be stored, handled, imported, exported, or transported.
10. Ratings and Reviews
Where review functionality is available, users must not:
- Create fake reviews
- Purchase or sell reviews
- Manipulate ratings
- Use multiple accounts to influence ratings
- Threaten users to obtain favorable reviews
- Publish knowingly false allegations
- Disclose confidential information improperly
Reviews should reflect genuine business experiences.
11. Platform Security
Users must not:
- Attempt unauthorized access
- Circumvent security controls
- Access another user’s account without permission
- Introduce malicious software
- Interfere with Platform operation
- Conduct unauthorized vulnerability testing
- Carry out denial-of-service activity
- Attempt to compromise Platform infrastructure
12. Scraping and Automated Data Collection
Without prior written authorization from Transa, users must not systematically extract Platform information using:
- Bots
- Crawlers
- Scrapers
- Automated scripts
- Similar automated technologies
This includes systematic extraction of:
- Provider information
- Customer information
- Rates
- Offers
- Contact information
- Reviews
- Commercial information
- Platform databases
13. Misuse of User Information
Information obtained through Transa must only be used for legitimate purposes associated with the relevant business interaction.
Users must not unlawfully collect, sell, distribute, disclose, or exploit information belonging to other users.
14. Intellectual Property
Users must respect intellectual property rights belonging to Transa and third parties.
Unauthorized copying, reproduction, commercial exploitation, or distribution of protected Platform content is prohibited.
15. Competitive Misuse
Users must not use Transa primarily to:
- Systematically harvest competitors’ commercial information
- Reproduce the Transa database
- Create an unauthorized competing database using Platform information
- Resell Platform data
- Circumvent restrictions designed to protect Platform information
Legitimate comparison of offers by genuine customers is permitted.
16. Enforcement
Where Transa reasonably believes this Policy has been violated, Transa may:
- Issue a warning
- Remove content
- Restrict Platform functionality
- Restrict messaging
- Temporarily suspend an account
- Permanently terminate an account
- Preserve relevant records
- Take other reasonable protective measures
- Cooperate with competent authorities where required by law
The response may depend on the nature, severity, frequency, and potential impact of the violation.
17. Reporting Misconduct
Users may report suspected:
- Fraud
- Misleading information
- Security concerns
- Abuse
- Inappropriate conduct
- Policy violations
Reports may be submitted through Transa’s official Contact Us or reporting channels.
Transa may investigate reports but does not guarantee a particular outcome.
18. Cooperation With Investigations
Users may be asked to provide reasonable information concerning suspected Platform misuse.
Transa may preserve or disclose relevant information where required by applicable law, valid court order, or lawful regulatory request.
19. Changes to This Policy
Transa may update this Acceptable Use Policy as Platform functionality, business requirements, security risks, or applicable laws evolve.
Material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
20. Relationship With Other Transa Policies
This Acceptable Use Policy should be read together with:
- Terms & Conditions
- Privacy Policy
- Any additional terms applicable to specific Transa services or features
Where there is a conflict, the Terms & Conditions will apply unless expressly stated otherwise.
